Second, if I had any say in the matter, you’d know what persecution really felt like.  Third, and you may not have noticed this, but we live in a country where the two most powerful figures in government at the moment were not leader of the party when it was elected and an unelected peer, respectively.  And its taken until now for you to care about democracy (not that I believe for a moment you ever did, of course, just highlighting a major problem if we accept this is true)?
